It seems that the "Good Hands" people have started lying to make you think that the more you pay, the better they cover you. State laws mandated by the Department of Insurance in your state enforce insurance company complaints and any insurance company, no matter how small they are, does NOT want to be prevented from selling insurance in your state, so they comply with coverage on claims as per your contract.
You will notice that Mr. Mayhem, not a spokesman for the company, and I will mention here that an actor doing a dramatization will say what he is payed to say, is the one to infer to you in the commercial in a carefully worded way, that, "If you paid for cut rate insurance, then you (THE OPERATIVE WORD HERE IS) "COULD" (careful not you say that you will) be paying for this yourself. Have you noticed their commercials are ALL OVER THE PLACE AND ALL THE TIME NOW? If their product was that great, they wouldn't need to advertise that much. They just want their clients and prospective clients to think it is worth it to pay more.
I go to an insurance broker who finds me the best rate for the least money. He has NEVER called and told me, "Gee, Steve, you know what? The best coverage we can get for you for the money would be ALLSTATE." If they were that good, he would.
Because of the changes in State Laws recently, in some states good drivers who have never had an accident or DUI are paying as little as nine dollars a month for insurance but you don't hear that being advertised.

MyLife.com Is A Scam

No one, and I repeat, NO ONE should bother giving money to MyLife.com They are a ripoff and have been since Day ONE. Their advertising seems questionable at best. They send out spam emails saying that someone wants to know about you, don't you want to know who? I can tell you who, MyLife.com wants to know any pertinent information about you so they can sell it. They don't have to guarantee you that the information they give you is accurate or helpful. It might be about someone with a similar name. They advertise that you only have to pay a small introductory fee then extract a year's worth of "fee" from your account as soon as they get your account number. Do not under any circumstance give them your account number.
Whitepages.com that is supposed to be part of the phone company directory will no longer give you information, they instead send you to some "pay for information" site that performs the same type of ripoff as MyLife.com.

BARNES & NOBLE PASSING THE BUCK

This is a copy of the email BARNES & NOBLE SENT ME when their computer system at their site for B&N used books screwed up my order. They told me they can't do anything about their screw-up. Please read this:

The point is, if you sell me something on your website, YOU ARE THE SELLER. I didn't send my money to a computer, I sent it to Barnes and Noble as they are supposed to be in charge of collecting the money and distributing the product to the buyer's selected shipping address. When someone puts in a shipping address and their system changes it because the system has an erroneous flaw in it, then it is NOT THE CUSTOMER'S FAULT!

Today, Sunday, August 7th, 2011 I tried to order a small used book for a mere eight dollars and change. After spending twenty minutes looking up and typing my daughter's address into the "Shipping Address" area on the order page, I then typed in my address for the "Billing Address" portion of the order page. At a certain point it asked me to verify my card information, etc. then asked me to verify my order. I checked all the information and hit the submit button.

When the verification page came up it had the name and address of a friend of mine who I ordered a book for a month ago - in both the Shipping Address and Billing Address sections of the verification page, saying "Thank You For Your Order, It is already being sent to the book dealer for shipment." I was immediately upset. I called Barnes and Noble's customer service number and the customer service representative told me that they were NOT able to fix a mistake like that when THEY CREATE IT. She went on to tell me that I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR CONTACTING THE SELLER AND STRAIGHTENING THE PROBLEM OUT ON THEIR END.

I emailed the seller and tried to contact them by phone today, which is a Sunday, and of course, no one could answer since they aren't in. Although their automated system has already prepared the book for shipping, according to the email they sent me. Ultimately, to solve the problem, I had to call my bank and cancel the transaction through a stop payment on their end. Since Barnes and Noble Online bookstore thinks that they are no longer responsible for fixing their system mistakes and chooses to act like a computer error is an act of God, then, I will no longer use them.

Tell me how donating to a cause that does not represent a candidate will change the law? Bribery? Paying off a lobbyist, which is what our president speaks out against regularly since long before the election? And please don't get me wrong, the other parties have more scams like this than anyone else, and since most constituents follow blindly like sheep, they are an easy target. This group is trying to suck money out of the party and eventually will get caught in a scandal since they spam everyone who comes on the government websites that are connected to OUR president. This group was supposed to collect for campaign contributions during the election. The polling places ran hate groups off from the polling places last election, this is asking you to volunteer to help stop that. I consider that a worthwhile cause, but....)

first time.
I'm told that many of you are working hard now to get as many as possible of those folks -- and others from across the country who are with us in these fights -- to the polls this
year.

It's an important effort, and the legacy of the fight for the Voting Rights Act is that it is not only our right to vote, and to help others do so -- it is our duty. Can I count on you to help out between now and the elections in November? (Man, I got excited, I could help with fair elections and what an honor to stand with some of the same people who marched with Dr. Martin Luther King, one of my heroes.)

When I was a child, I tasted the bitter fruits of racial discrimination -- and I did not like it. That was what spurred me to act. In those early days, we sacrificed our very selves for our rights as Americans. But we never gave up. And now barriers that kept an entire people from full
participation in this country have been removed. No longer are people who look like me met with violence when we register to vote. No longer is the idea that an African American could become

There actually is a Mitchell N. Kay, P.C. in New York City at 77 Penn St New York New York 10001 who has been the subject of LOTS of legal suits, including two class action suits. They drop the harrassment against the respondents on the law suit and promise not to contact them again and then go right back and get sued again. This man seems to work on the same principle as the people who can hack into your account and screw up your information, as in the movie "Changing Lanes", where someone with some cash like Ben Affleck's character did. There is also a scammer who uses a P.O Box, fake address in Smithtown, N.Y. to try to get people to unwittingly just pay him. If you call the phone number someone with an accent that sounds like they are in India answers the phone and is on a cell phone. They will verify your information until you ask for your Social Security Number. They make one up, at which point you tell them "THAT ISN'T ME!" and they will quickly tell you it must be a case of information theft. It is, and the person on the phone is the information thief. File a complaint with the better business department in New York State if you recieve one of these letters.
