GIVE ME YOUR MONEY!

HI Everyone!
Let me fire off a notice to you as far as scams go, this one is almost undetectable. I want you to look at the whole message anytime anyone sends you a campaign ad that might say this on it: "This communication is not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee." What does that mean? That means the money doesn't have to go to the candidate or anything having to do with the party. That means some people who were authorized during the election to help collect campaign contributions are using the same graphics and working off of the white house designed website and built a phony contribution website in order to make it look official and they sent you fancy emails with such heart wrenching stories, Now Hear This! :

John Lewis to me

(Your first name here, which means they have a program that hacks your email address book in order to find your first name, not a real fancy parlor trick, JavaScript wise, nothing more. I don't know about you, when someone tries to act like my buddy in order to sell me something, I defer to Henry David Thoreau, who said: "...If you see a man coming towards you with the obvious intention of doing you good- run for your life!") --

On March 7th, 1965, 600 of us lined up to walk from Selma to Montgomery, to march for voting rights. When we tried to cross the Edmund Pettus Bridge over the Alabama River, we were met by state troopers. They attacked us with tear gas, bullwhips, and nightsticks. It became known as Bloody Sunday, and the national outcry over the brutality that day led to the enactment, exactly 45 years ago today, of the Voting Rights Act.
The progress we've made since then is remarkable. But the expansion of voting rights for millions did not happen overnight. It was the product of a continued struggle, by many people, over many years.

(Are you getting inspired yet? I was feeling like I wish I had been there, and was getting overcome with emotion, which is what they wanted me to feel, I am sure.)

And just as change did not come easily then, it does not come easily now.

(Let me see, did they just use the "C" word again, trying to get people to rubber-stamp the idea that Barrack Obama MUST have endorsed this since it is branded with the word "CHANGE".)

Discrimination still exists in America -- its effects can be as harmful as they were decades ago. And we can always become a better, more just society.

(But not through deceptive con-artistry, through people actually putting themselves on the line and actually doing something - not just writing a check. Tell me how donating to a cause that does not represent a candidate will change the law? Bribery? Paying off a lobbyist, which is what our president speaks out against regularly since long before the election? And please don't get me wrong, the other parties have more scams like this than anyone else, and since most constituents follow blindly like sheep, they are an easy target. This group is trying to suck money out of the party and eventually will get caught in a scandal since they spam everyone who comes on the government websites that are connected to OUR president. This group was supposed to collect for campaign contributions during the election. The polling places ran hate groups off from the polling places last election, this is asking you to volunteer to help stop that. I consider that a worthwhile cause, but....)

Two years ago, this movement -- led by Barack Obama -- (Once again trying use the president's name to justify themselves.) brought millions of people into the political process for the
first time.
I'm told that many of you are working hard now to get as many as possible of those folks -- and others from across the country who are with us in these fights -- to the polls this
year.

It's an important effort, and the legacy of the fight for the Voting Rights Act is that it is not only our right to vote, and to help others do so -- it is our duty. Can I count on you to help out between now and the elections in November? (Man, I got excited, I could help with fair elections and what an honor to stand with some of the same people who marched with Dr. Martin Luther King, one of my heroes.)

When I was a child, I tasted the bitter fruits of racial discrimination -- and I did not like it. That was what spurred me to act. In those early days, we sacrificed our very selves for our rights as Americans. But we never gave up. And now barriers that kept an entire people from full
participation in this country have been removed. No longer are people who look like me met with violence when we register to vote. No longer is the idea that an African American could become
president just a dream. We live in a better world, a better country. But our work is not complete. We cannot wait for someone else to make change. (There's that "C" Word again, God, I love this writer.)

We must all do it. You must do it. I must do it. (Do you hear that? How imperative is this?)

Thank you,

Representative John Lewis

NOW, I AM REALLY INSPIRED. THEN, WHEN YOU CLICK ON THAT LINK IT TAKES YOU TO A WEB PAGE THAT WANTS TO KNOW ALL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AND THEN YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER IN ORDER TO BE A REAL AMERICAN. MY OPINION ? ? ? LIKE I SAID AT THE BEGINNING, THIS IS WHAT THE DISCLAIMER SAYS AT THE BOTTOM: "This communication is not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee."
THIS MEANS THAT NO PARTY OR CANDIDATE IS AFFILIATED WITH YOUR DONATION WHICH MEANS YOU DECIDE WHETHER YOU WANT TO DONATE MONEY TO SOMEONE AT A POST OFFICE IN WASHINGTON, D.C.
BARRACK OBAMA SAID AT A PRESS CONFERENCE THAT HE HAD WARNED "ORGANIZING FOR AMERICA" TO QUIT BOTHERING PEOPLE FOR MONEY, THEY THEN QUIT USING THAT NAME. BUT THIS IS THE SAME SCAM, EVEN THE SAME STYLE OF EMAILS. IF YOU ARE SKEPTICAL, EXPLAIN THIS TO ME. IF I MAKE A DONATION, WHERE DOES MY MONEY GO? FIRST THEY ASK ME TO VOLUNTEER BUT IT SEEMS THEY ARE SAYING THE ONLY WAY TO HAVE A FAIR ELECTION IS NOT TO VOLUNTEER, BUT TO SEND THEM MONEY. DO I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THIS? OH, HELL YES.

I can't tell if this is the same people or someone else using a copycat of the original scam but, are just asking for money in between elections that is a completely different scam artist, but they are not affiliated with any party or candidate. That is my whole point.

AND: According to Google Maps, the only actual business near there is Riverby Books at 417 E Capitol St SE , Washington, DC 20003-3810 The rest are apartments that are used as fronts and campaign offices for different Senators and Representatives around the area, most of them have a blurb on their website saying that "Organizing for America", which they participated in, was closed down long ago.
